Job Summary

At QAP/AGGPRO, you can contribute to meaningful work, grow professionally and personally, and belong in a place where everyone has a voice. The primary responsibility of the Scale Clerk is to track, record, and report the volume and type of material that leaves the pit on each truck. Maintain the scale house and operational equipment. Manage and report up-to-date pit inventories to management. Greet truck drivers, answer inquiries, advise pit personnel when customers enter the facilities, and distribute safety information. This seasonal position will be based in Deadhorse, AK. If this is the right job for you, we would love to have you join our team!

Main Responsibilities
  • Record vehicle tare weights and process daily scale transactions and generate vital scale ticket information.
  • Maintain pit inventory records and produce material reports.
  • Review and update information in JWS/automated scale weighing systems.
  • Maintain pit scale facility and scale equipment.
  • Additional clerical tasks, as assigned.
Education & Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Organized, with good attendance anda positive attitude.
  • Communicate well both written and verbally as well as work and solve problems independently.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to nature of working environment.
  • High level of understanding of computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with an accounting software/program preferred.
  • MUST HAVE valid drivers license
  • MUST HAVE Customer Service Experience
  • MUST be able to Multi Task
  • Comply and abide by Colaska Inc.'s Code of Ethics at all times during employment with the Company.
  • Worker must be able to pass drug screening at time of hire and random testing throughout employment.
Compensation
  • Compensation range of $27 hourly, DOE
  • Overtime eligible.
  • Duration: 5/12/25 thru 10/1/25
  • 6 days a week and 12 hours per day
  • Food and housing paid for by QAP
  • Transportation to and from Deadhorse from Anchorage or Fairbanks covered by QAP
