The Impact You Will Have:

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is hiring a Project Manager to join our HR team in Eagan, MN. As a Project Manager you will be managing multiple HR projects simultaneously, working with various internal and external stakeholders, and driving initiatives to successful completion. You will play a critical role in driving the success of our initiatives by overseeing the initiation, documentation, management, and delivery of HR projects. This position is pivotal in leading cross-divisional teams to achieve project objectives within stringent deadlines. Your ability to cultivate and sustain robust business relationships and communication strategies will be essential, as projects frequently involve multiple stakeholders and may require collaboration with external entities. This role demands a high level of proficiency in project management methodologies, resource management, risk and issue management, and the delivery of high-quality solutions within aggressive timeframes. Additionally, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing communication plans, managing vendor contracts and project budgets, and ensuring the integrity of sensitive employee data and proprietary company information.

You will have 5+ years of Project Management experience with a strong preference of an HR focus. You will have proven experience managing multiple, concurrent projects from end-to-end, at one time. You are seen as a trusted advisor, capable of influencing senior leadership and ensuring projects are aligned with organizational goals and delivered on time and in budget.

This role is hybrid, requiring at least 2 days a week in office, out of Eagan, MN.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination:Manage strategic, complex projects involving cross-functional teams across the organization. Projects may include systems integration.

  • Resource Management: Identify, integrate, and manage internal and external resources to provide business solutions for complex issues, while simultaneously managing multiple projects.

  • Project Lifecycle Management:Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including due diligence, information gathering, analysis, and reporting using standard project management methodologies.

  • Risk and Issue Management:Recognize and escalate issues and risks based on feedback from leaders or within functions.

  • Meeting Coordination:Coordinate, facilitate, lead, and document various project, committee, and steering group meetings.

  • Presentation Development:Support the development of presentations for senior-level audiences using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Template and Tool Preparation:Prepare project templates and tools, compile budget and resource requirements.

  • Quality Solutions Delivery:Drive and deliver high-quality solutions within aggressive timeframes, ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Communication Plan Implementation:Develop and implement communication plans in conjunction with leadership to support initiatives, including communication to key internal stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Relationship Management:Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to collaborate on projects and meet objectives.

  • Vendor and Budget Management:Manage vendor contracts and project budgets.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear and organized documentation. Provide regular executive-level status updates and project reports.

  • Sensitive Data Management:Manage sensitive employee data and proprietary company information with a focus on data integrity.

  • Process Improvement:Analyze project outcomes for maximum effectiveness. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Required Skills and Experiences: :

  • 5+ years of professional experience in project management, influencing business leaders, and driving results.

  • Strong project management skills, including familiarity with various elements of project management.

  • Proven ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and transform findings into project-level strategies.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and drive to decisions.

  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency and strong proficiency in PowerPoint.

  • Comfort interacting with stakeholders at all levels with a high level of professionalism.

  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt approaches as needed.

  • Excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to drive results.

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, or related fields.

  • Experience leading HR projects.

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

  • PMP certification.

  • Workday knowledge and experience.

  • Proficiency in Visio.

  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $67,200.00 - $89,100.00 - $111,000.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
