Learning Technologies Specialist

The Learning and Development team offers employees the opportunity to access courses to expand their knowledge and track professional development.We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Learning Technologies Specialist to manage our Learning Management System (LMS) that supports engaging learning experiences for our employees.
This role is responsible for the day-today administration of the LMS, integrating learning technologies such as Microsoft Teams, and editing video content to support training initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and understand the unique learning needs of technical professionals. This will be an in- office position and can sit at any Garver office.
Key Responsibilities


  • Administer and maintain the organization's LMS, ensuring seamless access to compliance training, technical learning modules, and professional development content.
  • Maintain the Learning & Development and Garver U internal inboxes
  • Create courses, enter events/sessions, upload content, and ensure participant's attendance status is complete within 48 hours
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and facilitators to publish and manage eLearning modules, videos, and learning paths within the LMS.
  • Set up and send course announcements and notifications
  • Provide customer support to all internal LMS users as needed for functional issues
  • Follow up with employees on unfinished Learning Plans
  • Support external client training by recording sessions in MS Teams and editing video recordings
  • Troubleshoot learning management system problems, identify issues, and recommend solutions
  • Run reports, streamline report functionality, create on demand reports as needed
  • Maintain training schedules and calendars
  • Manage learning catalogs for different business lines or departments
  • Coordinate logistics for onsite workshops (travel, meals, hotels, set up)


Qualifications:


  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Proven competency with computer software
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and effective time management


  • Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Teams
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate Excelskills
