Job Summary and Responsibilities

RF Specialist will help assist in the design, testing and optimization of the RF systems. The RF Specialist will work under the guidance of RF Engineers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the telecommunications industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Search area issuance, candidate assessment, approvals, Macro / Smalls Designs and RF design support for bringing these solutions on-air. Redesign mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints and improve SINR while working with other areas of the network to ensure performance fixes/initiatives are in place
  • Hands on experience with SATCOM, is a must.
  • Use Atoll for propagation and perform analysis
  • Perform Macro/Small Cell Design design including antenna selection and placement, utilizing knowledge of C-band, 5G, LTE, CDMA to contribute in network design
  • Create CIQs, E911 submissions, COPs etc.
  • Work on new cell sites, making sure the site is properly integrated into the network and optimized for peak performance
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deploy and optimize components for best efficiency and reliability


Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in telecommunications engineering or equivalent experience is required
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Knowledge of RF principles, concepts, and theory.
  • Familiarity with RF simulation tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
