Job Summary

Chartwells Higher Education is looking for a dynamic and passionate Foodservice Director to lead the daily operations of a high-volume residential dining hall at Baylor University. This is more than a job - it's an opportunity to shape campus culture, mentor a talented team, and deliver an exceptional dining experience to the Baylor student community.

What You'll Do:
As the Foodservice Director, you'll be at the heart of our food program's success. You'll lead day-to-day operations while ensuring that every meal served reflects our commitment to quality, service, and innovation.

  • Direct all aspects of daily food service operations with excellence
  • Lead and inspire a team of managers, supervisors, and frontline staff
  • Deliver exceptional food quality and customer service experiences
  • Partner with culinary teams to craft nutritious, on-trend menus
  • Monitor and manage labor and food costs to ensure financial success
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Bring new culinary programs to life with support from Chartwells' marketing and innovation teams
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
  • Three to five years of foodservice operation experience
  • Previous experience managing a budget
  • Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
