Requisition ID req33048 Working Title Student Success Splst,Sr Position Grade 12 Position Summary African American Student Services (AASS) is looking for a proactive and innovative Student Success Specialist, Sr to join our dedicated team. This role involves working collaboratively to achieve goals, tackling challenges with fresh and creative approaches, demonstrating integrity and respect, taking initiative to grow professionally, and adapting to changing environments and responsibilities. You will also support students using research-backed strategies to foster their academic, leadership, and professional development, helping them thrive throughout their higher education journey! This position offers the opportunity to take a leadership role in the following areas: 1) Coordinate retention programs focused on enhancing the first- and second-year student experience, including the AASS Summer Bridge Academy, Sankofa Mentoring Program, Leadership Program, and develop additional workshops, programs, and initiatives to promote student success. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
