REMOTE Senior UVM Verification Engineer

A REMOTE UVM Verification Engineer job is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace clients. You can work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, and 6 plus years of experience designing FPGAs/ASICs. Experience aerospace and defense projects is strongly preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for verification, documentation per the DO-254 guidelines, creating test plans, meeting timeline deliverables, overseeing JR engineers and providing guidance as required. This is a very visible opportunity requiring interfacing with internal management as well as customer facing interactions.

Job Duties:
* Generate detailed UVM model to meet program verification requirements.
* Meet all the documentation needs of an aerospace development project
* Create and execute a test plan.
* Coordinate and Direct other members on the team to complete verification effort.
* Interface with customer in providing status and addressing opens, queries.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related discipline, advanced degree preferred.
* 6+ plus years of experience designing and developing Verification artifacts for FPGAs/ASICs from concept through production. Aerospace experience required.
* Extensive experience with UVM Test Bench creation, updating, maintaining and meeting verification goals of an DO-254 DAL-A design
* Experience in DO-254 verification environment, documentation, process practices.
* Strong knowledge of industry standard verification tools and methodologies
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Excellent analytical, root cause, debugging and analytical skills

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $125,000 to $165,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
