Financial Analyst - Investment Operations Middle Office (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position will reside in the Investment Operations Middle Office team and will provide daily support for assigned systems, products, or business units. The individual will also look for potential improvements to current procedures, plans, and controls to achieve financial objectives.

• Data Analysis - Performing daily portfolio reconciliations of collateral balances, counterparty & custodial trading positions
• Reporting - Produces reports for regulatory and/or financial purposes as needed
• Business Support - Provides support to management, associates, and other key groups via assisting with onboarding new clients onto our platforms and obtaining the necessary documentation and contacts
• Management of collateral processes such as Public Funds and OTC derivatives, issuing margin calls, agreeing and booking collateral movements and investigating disputes
• May prepare documentation, presentations, or other materials for business purposes.
• Maximizes effort - Reviews and enhances current processes to streamline and/or automate where possible

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Finance or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Finance or Analytics

Preferred Qualifications

• General knowledge of and familiarity with financial instruments (i.e. fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives) and trade life cycle
• Confident working with all levels of seniority within the organization
• Self-starter with an emphasis on organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of Blackrock Aladdin, Chatham, Clearwater, Finastra Fusion CMS, MarkitWire, and Bloomberg a plus
