Position Description

The Senior Tax Accountant II will be responsible for providing support to the tax compliance function of a group of closely held entities and their owners. Responsibilities would include preparation of various federal, state, and local income tax returns, coordination of quarterly estimated tax payments for various taxpayers, and management of due dates for all department-wide tasks and tax filings. They will be expected to coordinate with various company personnel to obtain information required to complete tax calculations necessary for tax compliance and to communicate with all members of the tax compliance team.

Position Requirements



  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, and 7+ years of accounting, tax, or audit experience is preferred.
  • The candidate should be a motivated self-starter who is able to work independently while also being a team player
  • Professional written and oral communication skills required as well as organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong computer skills (proficient at Excel/Word/Outlook)
