Description

* Assisting in loan closing for renewals and restructures. * Managing a dedicated portfolio of loans as needed or assigned. * Assisting in relationship management of complex accounts. * Requesting and analyzing borrower reports (operating statements, rent rolls). * Completing internal covenant monitoring reports. * Creating spreadsheets to illustrate project economics. * Completing loan status reports and worksheets. * Assisting in drafting credit approvals for new loan requests, loan renewals, restructures, or litigation. * Assisting in gathering market data and relevant background information on new loan requests. * Assisting in inputting relevant data into financial models. * Assisting in marketing efforts to existing clients as well as prospects. * Assisting in identifying new prospects for external calling efforts.

Position Requirements:

* Requires an understanding of loan documentation (credit agreement, deed of trust) and real property documentation (leases, title reports).

* Bachelor's degree is required and 1 + year of related experience.

Commercial Real Estate banking experience is preferred.

* Flexibility to perform both analytical and sometimes loan processing tasks.

* Requires the ability to become familiar with internal processes and intranet platforms in which diligence reports are engaged, covenants are tracked, and property operating data is displayed.

* Requires an understanding of real estate cash flows and operating statements for income-generating RE projects (office, industrial, retail, apartments).

* Possesses good communication and people skills

* Ability to interact with clients, and/or prospects in a professional manner.

* Possesses excellent organizational skills and is very detail oriented.

* Experience with Excel, Word and Power Point.

* Possesses the flexibility to conduct some periodic traveling to do site inspections and meet with clients and prospects.

* Possesses the ability to work independently of direct supervisor
