Equipment Repair Specialist

Regions Hospital is seeking an Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team in our Supply Chain Services Department! This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair and fleet management of Regions Hospital, HealthPartners clinic and affiliates multifunctional devices. The role will be responsible for the following job duties/responsibilities:

• Recommend best fit device placement to provide copy, print, and fax services in a cost-effective environment
• Receive calls for service within the Service Now Application to repair and maintain fax machines, copy machines, and multifunctional copier devises
• Work with department management to ensure that customer needs are met and to evaluate new technologies
• Maintain current inventory of all copiers, fax machines, and multifunctional copier devises
• Provide detailed reports such as but not limited to device location, model numbers, billing, and outside vendor services etc.
• Other duties as assigned

FTE: 0.0; Casual/Per Diem

Work Schedule: Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month - 2 shifts must be a weekend shift.

Required Qualifications

• Two year technical degree in electronic technology and/or two years of experience in copier/electronics repair and service
• Two years of experience servicing fax machines, printers, and copiers
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to left 55 lbs
• Ability to stand or walk the majority of the work shift
