Plumber

• Interpret building plans and drawings to determine installation steps and required tools, while inspecting structures to avoid weakening during pipe installation.
• Mark pipe placement, cut and thread pipes, and bend them as needed using mechanical tools.
• Assemble and install a variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, valves, and fittings, joining them through various methods including soldering and caulking.
• Test systems for leaks using water or air pressure and install/repair plumbing fixtures like sinks, water heaters, and water softeners.
• Perform general plumbing repairs, weld on piping and structural steel, and handle tasks such as silver soldering and Backflow device repair.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and manage documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain an organized workspace by managing tools, spare parts, and shop inventory efficiently.

• High school diploma.
• Successfully completed an Apprenticeship program and ten or more year's related experience and training: or equivalent combination of education and experience and possesses a state journeyman card.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Master plumber (as specified)
• Local License as applicable.
• Forklift and aerial equipment certification.
