Overview

Amyx, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Records Management Professional subject matter expert (SME) to support our federal client in Washington, DC. This role requires a highly experienced professional with expertise in federal records management procedures, governance, and compliance. The SME will collaborate with the client's records team to establish, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide records management strategies. The role involves developing governance procedures ensuring compliance with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requirements and integrating records management into the client's electronic systems and IT framework.



Responsibilities

    Provide subject matter expertise in federal records management policies, and NARA requirements, to support the client's enterprise-wide records initiatives.
  • Develop supplemental program requirements, policies, and procedures for managing program-specific records, temporary and permanent records, and litigation holds.
  • Establish guidance and resources for records inventories, file plans, holdings management, disposal, and permanent records transfer.
  • Oversee and coordinate with te cliient and other agency organizations elements to implement electronic records management solutions, ensuring compliance with federal requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Federal and contractor employees on records management roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the client's organizations to integrate records management standards into electronic systems and IT policies.
  • Design and conduct a records management assessment program to evaluate awareness, effectiveness, and compliance across the agency
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study with at least 7 years of experience (or Master's degree with at least 5 years of experience) within the field required including initiating, planning, developing, executing/managing, monitoring, controlling, and closing large-scale programs, including service delivery contracts and mission critical programs and directly supporting complex federal government acquisition programs/projects.
  • Possess a high-level of emotional intelligence to ensure successful integration and team oriented dynamic.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in records management, archival administration, or federal information governance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products. Ability to determine if the Contract's procurement is in compliance with the FAR/related acquisition and procurement policies.
  • Ability to evaluate all official contract file documentation to determine the incorporation of meeting the FAR standard and agency standards towards effecting sound business judgment
  • In-depth knowledge of NARA regulations.
  • Experience developing records policies, file plans, and compliance programs for large government agencies.
