Summary

The Patient Service Coordinator role manages complex scheduling for the practice and is responsible for providing administrative and office support for patients and providers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates overall office operations under the guidance of the practice manager.
  • Maintains and updates daily provider schedules for both office and hospital obligations
  • Leadership/facilitation for quality & practice improvement
  • Performs electronic health system template management.
  • Oversees special projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Manages more complex scheduling, inclusive of surgical scheduling and emergent scheduling needs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Two years of administrative patient service experience.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills
