Overview:

This is an onsite position at:

Insurance Service Representative I is responsible for processing incoming correspondences from insurance companies. This included but is not not limited to, processing requests from insurance companies and routing correspondence to appropriate department for handling. This role also involves performing various office duties including such as printing, mailing, and other tasks as needed to assist the correspondence team. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience, Prior Revenue Cycle, Healthcare billing or insurance.
• Education: HS Degree or Equivalent
• Certifications: None
• Other: Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge, Communication and customer service skills.
