DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Leads the partnership with internal teams to build a robust planogram process and best practices for Nintendo of America.
  • Prepares and presents merchandising recommendations based on leveraging syndicated data, POS, current in-store fixtures, and new merchandising solutions developed by the Merchandising Development and Retail Marketing teams.
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to create customized retail merchandising solutions.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with planogram leads at all retailers with focus on top five accounts.
  • Develops and maintains a planning calendar of all key retailer planogram dates for major mod updates and flow in of new titles.
  • Recommends product transitions within the planogram through each product's life cycle (ex. from new release, to value, to closeout).
  • Leads Nintendo of America planogram programs for both permanent and temporary initiatives.
  • Collaborates with Retail Strategy to measure the effectiveness of new initiatives that impact the overall planogram strategy (ex. New Release software sections, HW placement, etc).
  • Leads the merchandising strategy planning process for retail accounts.
  • Prepares planogram documents to fold into the merchandising guidelines for field reps.
  • Works closely with retailers to obtain official planograms (standard and special projects), and provides to field reps prior to implementation.
  • Creates and maintains a SharePoint library of assets and planograms for shared use among internal and external partners.
  • Prepares and presents space and merchandising recommendations at quarterly account planning meetings and other retail meetings as needed.
  • Assists Brand Ambassador team with operational analytical support utilizing Natural Insight and Tableau.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:



  • 6-8 years of related experience.
  • 5+ years of Category Management/Insights/Sales experience.
  • Solid understanding of the principles and practices of marketing.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong internal and external communication abilities in terms of written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite with a solid knowledge of Syndicated and POS data.
  • Proficiency in Space Management Software a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, a related field, or equivalent.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $102,500 - $164,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
