PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $34.18-$41.78 hourly. The full Pay Range is $26.59-$49.38 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. BENEFITS

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Are you ready to step into a leadership role in a brand-new branch? We're opening a new location in Kirkland, and we're looking for a dynamic, motivated Member Consultant Lead who is eager to take charge and play an integral part in our growth. In this exciting opportunity, you will not only help our members achieve financial wellness, but also lead and mentor a team as we build a thriving new branch.

As a Member Consultant Lead, you'll be a key player in shaping the branch's success, helping grow our talented team, and ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our members. You'll assist in managing day-to-day operations, coach team members, and lead by example to promote the Credit Union's values of service, community, and financial well-being.

This is more than just a leadership position-it's an opportunity to help foster a culture of excellence and financial empowerment as you grow with us.

Training will include 12 weeks of comprehensive training through our in-house program, covering everything from member service to team coaching and operations. You'll be paired with a mentor and have regular check-ins with leadership to ensure your success in the new Kirkland Central branch.

12-Week Training Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday with flexibility needed to work shifts between the hours of 8:00am and 6:30pm

After training, Member Consultant Leads are scheduled during any of the branch operating hours:

  • Monday-Friday between 8:30am-6:30pm
  • Up to three Saturdays per monthfrom 8:30am-1:30pm

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead by Example: Deliver exceptional service to members and internal customers, while actively promoting additional services to enhance the members relationship with BECU.
  • Mentor and Coach: Guide your team of Consultants in delivering top-notch service, resolve escalated issues, and provide on-the-job training and feedback.
  • Champion Growth: Work with branch leadership to identify training needs, mentor team members, and help drive performance in both sales and service goals.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement changes to procedures, products, and services to provide the best possible member experience.
  • Lead Reporting Efforts: Help create and distribute reports to management and staff to keep everyone aligned with branch goals.
  • Ensure Compliance: Monitor internal controls, quality reports, and audits to ensure we're always meeting the highest standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Member Consultant/Personal Banker role (or equivalent).
  • Leadership and/or mentoring experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-resolution expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks.
  • Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.
