Responsibilities


As a Field Service Engineering I, you are the face of ARCFIELD. As a member of the ARCFIELD Field Service Team, you will be empowered to:

The successful candidate will have experience refreshing and deploying new equipment including desktops, laptops, installing software, maintaining equipment, and repair equipment or systems at Arcfield sites. Ensuring they function correctly and efficiently with minimum supervision. While also providing technical support on-site and over the phone.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide technical support.
  • Performing routine maintenance, preventative measures.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues or repairs to ensure equipment or systems that are not functioning correctly. Like desktops, laptops, poly gear, network equipment, and printers.
  • Knowing Tier I network basic needs for hardware/software support.
  • Assisting Network Team with Tier I knowledge of network repairs or outages.
  • Perform Active Directory (AD) in Azure and Office 365 user administration portals.
  • Understanding windows 11 Pro interface and Linex Interface.
  • Imaging Desktops and Laptops with a Windows/Linex image, configure, install, maintain and deploy new systems to End Users on-site and off-site.
  • Keep customer apprised of progress during maintenance or a down system situation.
  • Record all work and interactions in the ticketing system for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • high level of attention to detail.
  • Check-In/Out to maintain accurate inventory levels in WASP System
  • Collaborate with the logistics team and Field team to track and manage incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Participate in-service training, staff meetings, and other professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and cooperative work environment with supervisors, Team, Programs.

Qualifications

  • BS 0-2 Years of HS 6-8
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, Engineering, computer science or 4+ years in a specific industry or as a Field Service Engineer technical support role or a similar field.
  • CompTIA Security+ (or DoDD 8140 IAT II Compliance) Required
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) are recommended
  • Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Clearance

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure that work is completed accurately.

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to enterprise ticketing system
  • Experience working with Azure AD, and device management, including: Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory), Microsoft Intune (Mobile Device Management)
  • Ability to work with Poly Equipment
  • Excellent to work with Network Equipment.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize task, and work independently.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
