Position Title: Painter Wage: $17.00 - $20.00/hour Do you have experience painting? Looking for 3-day weekends? This company in New London, WI offers 4-day work weeks, Monday through Friday. Painter Responsibilities: - Perform pre-painting activities including power-washing parts to prepare them for painting - Ensure surfaces are clean and ready for application of paint - Operate variety of hand tools and professional spray equipment - Apply primer and topcoat using pressure pot systems, ensuring high-quality finishes on industrial components - Clean and maintain paint guns and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity - Troubleshoot painting issues such as uneven coating, overspray, or color discrepancies, and implement corrective measures as needed - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment at all times - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines efficiently - Maintain logs, records and reports concerning production, machine maintenance and product inconsistencies - Inventory tools, parts and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed - Operate forklift to move product Requirements for Painter: - High school diploma or equivalent - Paint experience is a plus - Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics - Detail-oriented and consistent - Basic ability in mathematics, reading or writing - Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16 - Good problem solving skills - Valid driver's license - Basic computer literacy skills - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines appleton@qpsemployment.com IND042 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
