Clinical Treatment Director- Intensive Residential Treatment Services

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Clinical Treatment Director to services lead for assigned treatment programs in Minneapolis, MN. Our services are designed to help enhance psychiatric stability, personal and emotional adjustment, self-sufficiency, and independent living skills for individuals who often have co-occurring mental health and substance use diagnoses. We are dedicated to helping people set goals toward independence and lifelong wellness and we customize treatment using a person-centered approach.

The Clinical Treatment Director is responsible for the training, oversight and adherence to the organizations clinical protocols and promises. Provides clinical direction to identified treatment canvas teams ensuring that clinical services are delivered per organizational and state licensing requirements. The Clinical Treatment Director is responsible for the training and adherence to documentation standards as identified by 245i compliance, billing practice and canvas care philosophies. This position approves all treatment and billing documentation. The Clinical Treatment Director is a member of the "On-Call" team rotation.

Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, Flexibility with start and end times. Some remote work available.

Location: Assigned treatment programs in Minneapolis, MN

Hiring Range: $98,090 - $105,937, plus $2,000 hiring bonus for external candidates.

Main Duties:

1.) Responsible for clinical program consultation consistent with the organization's integrated care model, which promotes evidence-based approaches and Trauma-Informed clinical best practices, while ensuring consultation supports statutory requirements.

  • Work with Operations Directors to create consistency in programming, groups and associated procedures, including but not limited to, treatment planning, discharge planning, etc.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff in alignment with a written supervision plan as identified by Minnesota state statute chapter 245i.
  • Provide weekly in person supervision during clinical review for treatment canvas locations
  • Provide emergency back-up clinical leadership as identified
  • Participate in clinical on-call rotation
  • Assist in clinical program development activities
  • Support organizational goals by offering consultation and support on new clinical program development, providing direct services on an emergency basis, or in providing supervisory activities as needed
  • Coordinate with site leaders in the monitoring and improvement of key clinical outcome measures for daily operations

2.) Responsible for ensuring clinical training expectations and standards are set and upheld according to statutory requirements and best practices.

  • Designs foundational clinical trainings to support staff readiness and confidence
  • Demonstrates expertise in foundational trainings and the ability to effectively facilitate ongoing learning activities
  • Assures consistent application of treatment philosophies
  • Remains current on evidence based best practice and makes recommendations to Director(s) of Operations on clinical implementation
  • Maintain training records

3.) Understand and support accountability to clinical program standards (legal/regulatory and billing requirements) and organizational policies.

  • Monitor clinical related documents within the electronic health record (EHR) system and provide approval in accordance with applicable state statutes and procedures (i.e. progress notes, treatment plans, billing of services, etc.)
  • Maintain currency on changes to legal/regulatory requirements and/or billing requirements that may impact relevant programs and provide approvals accordingly
  • Inform and support the maintenance of standardized treatment practices and consistent implementation across locations
  • Work in collaboration with program site

E.) Results Driven

  • Accomplishes critical deliverables identified during the appraisal period, focusing on measurable outcomes from the strategic plan which includes the annual tactical plan and organizational goals and objectives identified by the board of directors.
Requirements

Required Qualification:

  • Master's degree in behavioral science or a related field 7+ years of clinical experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a residential setting
  • Licensed as a Mental Health Professional as defined in state statutes: LMFT, LICSW, LPCC, or LP.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Completion of People Incorporated's Link to Leadership Program.
  • 7+ years of clinical experience
  • State of MN Board-approved supervisor for licensure candidates
