DIESEL ENGINE TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE

Our Clarke Powered Solutions - is currently looking for a Parts & Service Customer Support Representative to keep up our level of commitment to customer service. In this role, rep Interprets customer needs to fulfill the diesel engine parts and service needs of the customer.
What are the duties?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Inspect engine or transmission for conformance to standard.
- Diagnose cause of nonconformance. Identify corrective action necessary to correct nonconformance.
- Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
- Obtains parts from stock.
- Cleans tools and working area.
- Paper work and/or R/O documentation.
- Basic computer literacy and good verbal communication skills
- Performs other routine duties.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
