DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Legal Office Administrator, you will utilize your detailed knowledge of Commonwealth contract policies, to analyze existing contracts in accordance with those policies for administration and compliance as well as coordinate the execution of contract agreements. You will have the opportunity to serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between OCC attorneys and internal/external clients from initiation of the contract through the conclusion of the contract lifecycle. Work also involves assisting with logging, assigning, and tracking contracts into the Legal Approval Tracking System (LATS), Engineering and Construction Management System (ECMS), SAP, DOTgrants, eGrants, RAS, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). Additional responsibilities include:
- Preliminarily reviewing all contracts, ensuring they are acceptable for the attorney's approval
- Maintaining working knowledge of contract review and submission procedures of Comptroller's Office, OGC, and OAG
- Preparing forms for submission of contracts to OGC and OAG for legal review
- Preparing e-mails for electronic contracts (SRM PO and SRM contracts) that go to OGC and OAG
- Developing checklists, flowcharts, and other information to assist in contract development and processing

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week, upon successful completion of the required training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of varied office management or staff work within a public or private legal office.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess good interpersonal skills, including active listening communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
