Position Summary: The Advanced Practice Nurse is a mid-level healthcare provider who works collaboratively with the designated physician and is responsible for comprehensive care to a specific group of patients. The Advanced Practice Nurse educates patients and their families in order to promote wellness, prevent health problems/complications, maintain current health, as well as diagnose and manage acute or chronic problems. The Advanced Practice Nurse seeks opportunities for professional growth through participation in continuing education and staff development.
