Position Summary

A LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the LIMS software used in laboratories to track samples, manage workflows, and ensure data integrity.


Responsibilities

System Administration: Managing the LIMS software, including user access, permissions, and system configuration.

Data Management: Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within the LIMS.

Workflow Management: Optimizing and maintaining laboratory workflows within the LIMS.

Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues within the LIMS.

Reporting: Generating reports and analyzing data from the LIMS.

Training: Providing training to laboratory personnel on the use of the LIMS.

System Upgrades: Participating in LIMS upgrades and implementations.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


Qualifications

NOTE: hands on experience with LIMS software in a laboratory operations environment a requirement!

LIMS Software, Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook

Strong understanding of LIMS software and laboratory operations in a chemical facility.

Experience with data management and analysis.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
