Description This person will be a sr. network engineer with supervisor expectations. Looking for hand on experience technically as well as experience overseeing a small team in day to day work. Responsible for design, implementation, and management of the organization's network infrastructure leading a team of network engineers to ensure the stability, performance, and security of the network systems. This position requires sr. level technical abilities as well as vendor and team management skills. Additional duties include assisting with budget preparation and management; recommendations for technical acquisitions; development of guidelines, standards and procedures. Responsible for ensuring the Strategic alignment between the business and IT are upheld in the most efficient and effective way and being communicated to all levels. This position is a working manager of the network team, as well as the Network Architect and Sr. Level Network Engineer with specific specialty in Cisco networking products. You must have provable expert experience with and be certified in Cisco switches and routers to perform this job successfully. Skills Network engineering, Router, Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Firewall, Ccna, CCNP, Wan, SD-wan, VPN Additional Skills & Qualifications: Team Leadership & Management Network Design & Implementation Network Operations & Maintenance Strategic Planning & Project Management Vendor & Stakeholder Management Security & Compliance * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field * 7+ years of experience in network engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role * Cisco CCNP or higher certification is required. (If they do not have current CCNP - it's okay as long as they can speak to the abilities) * Proven experience with network design, implementation, and management in complex environments Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
