We are looking for a Capital Markets Senior Middle Office Business Analyst in Charlotte, NC.

Essential Functions:
  • Work closely with Front Office Sales and Trading to develop and administer effective risk management policies and ensure best practices
  • Perform daily activities related to OTC derivatives, including but not limited to trade verification, settlements, and coordinating with counterparts on initial margin and variation margin
  • Maintain interest rate, pricing, and volatility curves and data feeds used to generate end-of-day valuations to create PnL, Attribution and IPV reports for the Rates, Commodities and Futures business
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Manage PFE front office requests and produce CVA /RPA P&L reports
  • Assist in managing DTCC Repository requirements
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational queries
  • Identify, prioritize, and drive system and process enhancements impacting systems and workflows
  • Work on ad-hoc projects, respond to inquiries, and perform other related tasks

Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of banking, markets, industry practices, and market trends
  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
  • In depth understanding of the details and mechanics of OTC products (including futures, Options, and swaps)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience supporting derivative businesses
  • Undergraduate degree in finance or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Calypso, MarkitWire, Tri_Optima and Bloomberg is a plus
