Capgemini Government Solutions LLC is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team to support our government clients in McLean, VA and DC Metro area. This is a multifaceted role working in collaboration with our existing Account Team and Capgemini's world class teams.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to apply and grow their skillset and work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS' capabilities by serving our clients. This applicant will report to the Senior Contracts Manager and will be responsible for contract process on programs of various complexity. The applicant will support the pursuit and execution of a mixed portfolio of contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and meeting company performance objectives.

Job Responsibilities

As a Contracts Administrator, you will:



  • Review and recommend contract terms and conditions to ensure adherence to company policy and government specifications and requirements.
  • Negotiate NDA, TA, CTA, subcontracts, and prime contracts (e.g. BOA, BPA, IDIQ, GWAC, GSA MAS, Task/Delivery Order) with industry best practices and company risk policies and procedures.
  • Assist technical and program personnel with contractual rights and obligations.
  • Identifying, mitigating, and resolving program risks and issues.
  • Participate in program management review meetings, debriefs, and kickoff meetings
  • Support technical and program personnel in documenting issues in the contract file to ensure mutual understanding and provide support in maintaining contractual files, documenting significant actions, correspondence, and deliverables submitted under the contract.
  • Advise the technical and program personnel of any problems affecting the cost, schedule, or technical performance of the contract.
  • Conduct RFP/RFQ/ROM/RFI review, proposal preparation and submission, contract negotiation, and contract administration through contract close-out.
  • Participation in proposal color team reviews


  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients


  • Handle multiple concurrent work streams while producing quality output



Basic Qualifications:



  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Contract Management or related field.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in government contracting, including fixed price, Time and Materials (T&M), and cost-reimbursable type contracts.


  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. Government contracting laws, regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc.), and government acquisition process


  • Experience with Federal Government contracts and commercial contracts
  • Experience administering Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and civilian agency contracts


  • Experience with Federal Government submission portals (e.g., GSA eBuy, GSA ASSIST, FedConnect, SeaPort-e NxG, e-GOS, Symphony)


  • Proficient with Adobe and Microsoft office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM/Dynamics
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems


  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation)



Additional Qualifications:



  • Pricing and Procurement experience



Preferred Skills



  • Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification


  • Unison CLM experience
  • Current NCMA or related professional organizational membership


  • Experience with mentor-protege agreements (MPA) and joint ventures

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $85K - $110K.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
