CLASS A CDL DRIVER

Hourly Pay range: $26-$28

Wirtz & Daughters, a Heritage partner company, is actively seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual that is a team player.

This full-time CLASS A Driver will be responsible for delivering products to customers, branches, and vendors. The workweek is Monday through Saturday during Spring & Summer months. CLASS A CDL LICENSE is a MUST!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• An eye for safety including vehicle inspections, load securement, and general rules of the road.
• Driving multiple truck types (Tri-Axle dump trucks, tractor trailers, etc.)
• Loading, unloading, and staging orders in a warehouse/jobsite environment.
• Delivering to customer sites, branch locations and unloading products as needed.
• Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA.
• Other related duties as assigned, stocking, order entry, shipping/receiving, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CDL License - Class A - MANUAL TRANSMISSION
• Acceptable driving record
• Basic computer knowledge, Internet use
• Forklift experience helpful
• Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
