UX/IX Developer

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a UX/UI Developer to support military operational exercise objectives. The opportunity is an upcoming award expected in May 2025.

Job Description:

Translates interaction design and information architecture into intuitive user experiences. Facilitates product vision by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products. Understands and incorporates complex technical and business requirements into research. Design and develop interaction models or specialized user interfaces that meet the integration requirements. Develops effective websites, web interfaces, and web portals that include middleware/PaaS/Service Bus/API capabilities to integrate services within the portal.

Primary Location: Fort Eustis Virginia or Fort Leavenworth, Kansas

Degree Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field

Relevant Experience:

• Strong understanding of programming concepts and programming languages and tools to include Java, scripting tools, development and debugging tools
• Knowledge of other languages (.NET C#, C), scripting (Perl, KSH/CSH), Operating Systems (HP-UX, SunOS, IBM AIX), databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, Sybase SQL), applications (Tomcat, WebLogic, Netrac, NetCool, NetExpert, etc.), simulations protocols (DIS, HLA) and networks will be helpful for follow-on tasks, but are not required initially.
• Proficient in design software (Sketch, UXPin, Proto.io, Balsamiq, Adobe Xd).

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in related field. 3+ years of experience with User Interface (UI) design and development required. Proficient in design software (Sketch, UXPin, Proto.io, Balsamiq, Adobe Xd). Knowledge of web languages (HTML/CSS/Javascript/AngularJS/React) Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Process Management (BPM) software and processes preferred. Must be able to move, carry, and operate personal computer equipment and related material. Proficiency with prototyping and development for website and web-based applications with platform-level tools. Must be a US citizen.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000
