POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervises front line Pharmacy and satellite location operations and employee's day-to-day clinical performance including management of human and financial resources, policy and staff development. Performs periodic weekday/weekend rounds monitoring Pharmacy service ensuring regulatory/policy compliance. Performs staff duties when necessary. EDUCATION: Master`s Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy and/or five (5) to seven (7) years of clinical experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting preferred. EXPERIENCE: Registered Pharmacist (current licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of New Jersey). SPECIAL SKILLS: Knowledge of drug data systems and statistical methods. Computer literacy. Effective communication skills (oral, writing, presentation) and interactive skills to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of varied age and cultural groups, departmental and hospital staff, physicians, and patients/family members. Ability to respond quickly and meet the customer's request and/or needs. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to effectively handle interruptions and adapt to a changing environment, workload, and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, trouble-shoot, and solve problems. Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
