Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Support end-to-end Technology for programs and projects Perform project management responsibilities relating to information technology: implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery Have direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects Manage multiple projects or a single major project Partner with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions Assist with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment Manage to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility Build positive give and take relationships with stakeholders Use the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations Requirements: 2+ years of applicable experience General background and understanding of project management and project documentation Able to navigate through technical discussions, influence discussions, and gain consensus on topics such as design, timing, and scope Fully conversant with Agile Lean Software Delivery Life Cycle and/or iterative development life cycles Able to work in an high paced work environment Able to handle multiple, competing priorities Organized and detail oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solicit input from others Desired skills: Some QA Background desired as they will also be involved in testing management.
