Departmental Overview

Norman Regional's Clinic Support Services gives real-time insight and solutions that impact the operations and outcomes of our Primary and Specialty Care Clinics. The department uses information, data, and technology to assist in systematically learning about our current processes and implement strategies focused improving patient outcomes. Our goal is to create a workflow that allows our healers to reach a higher threshold of quality performance that aids in driving patient care forward as well as decreasing operation expenses through efficiencies. Supporting NRHS strategy with both efficient and effective data and planning as well as corresponding analysis of the outcome is vital to realization of goals and the overall health outcomes clinics.


Job Summary

  • Central to all population health initiatives is the collection and analysis of large sets of data that lead to recommendations for action.
  • This Manager leads the identification of common and systemic patterns in the health of specific groups, then collaboratively supports the development of plans to improve those people's health and well-being.
  • Responsible for the management of resources to capture, analyze and utilize data in order to improve health outcomes and reduce cost of healthcare.
  • Collaborates with clinical leaders, payers, physicians (both independent and employed), government agencies, and other departments within Norman
  • Regional to meet outcome metrics, cost metrics and other value-based components of payer contracts and regulatory measures.
  • Creates consistent and reliable feedback loops that keep a variety of stakeholders informed of changing trends.
  • Works collaboratively with operational teams to create actionable plans and the reports to track the effectiveness of those plans.
  • Manages the incoming data analysis requests and ensures that reports are accurate, timely and actionable.
  • Leads the proactive analysis of performance metrics to identify trends related to various clinical quality and payment arrangements.
  • Collaborates with various leadership teams to improve performance as it relates to those metrics. Responsible for providing information and data to physicians, staff, and the Health System performance and monitoring of initiatives related to population health for Norman Regional Health System and NHealth.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors Degree required in business or clinical related field; or Associates Degree in business or clinical related field and willingness to earn Bachelors Degree in business or clinical related field within five years of hire.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience with 3 years in a clinic setting preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Compensation/Benefits

  • $39.62-$64.71/hr depending on previous work experience.
