Program Logistician III - USAF CBRN Defense Branch
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Senior program logistician who will support the U.S. Air Force (USAF) CBRN Defense Modernization Capability Developer in support of the Joint Program Executive Office for CBRN Defense's (JPEO-CBRND). In this role, you will provide dedicated logistics support to 6 programs of record with USAF equity. You will serve as the Joint Lead Logistician on one of the 6 programs, ensuring continuity of support to both the USAF as well as sister service/joint stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute USAF processes associated with the 12 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements and incorporate results into appropriate acquisition documentation
  • Perform Joint Integrated Logistics Assessments in accordance with the roles and responsibilities outlined in JPEO-CBRND policy #34
  • Perform analysis on field documentation (e.g., level of repair analysis, maintenance analysis, etc.) to update repair activities both at depot and local levels.
  • Review and provide comments to deliverables from the material development contract (e.g., system developer progress status and management reports; Failure Report and Corrective Action Systems; Hazardous Materials Management Plan report; test reports; Manpower and Personnel Integration; Human Systems Integration; technical manual validation reports; technical manuals; Engineering Change Proposals; Materiel Fielding Plans; etc.)
  • Provide a consolidated logistics schedule, to include a schedule for each program within a given portfolio and update the schedule monthly.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute formal manual validation and verification events for each program as required based on schedule and established milestones
  • Participate and provide input to program functional milestone decisions, IPTs, IPRs, and required program updates for material development contracts.
  • Provide logistics input into program documentation (LCCE, LCSP, TEMP, SEP, etc.)
  • Provide logistics requirements for the assigned program's Requirements Traceability Matrix and Risk Management Plan.
  • Develop, update, and maintain program strategies and plans (e.g., LCSP, New Equipment Training plans; Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages and obsolescence plans; technical order lifecycle management plans; technical order lifecycle verification plans, etc.)
  • Provide logistics requirements for RFIs and RFPs
  • Analyze logistics processes to determine which processes require change and how that change can be affected by the application of emerging technology.
  • Provide recommendations about logistical issues to program leadership.
  • Manage the drafting and staffing of logistics documentation for the Joint Project Manager and USAF
Minimum Requirements:
  • Required: Bachelors Degree
  • Required: 10+ years in project management, engineering management, DoD acquisition or related subject of comparable complexity.
  • Required: 5+ years' working knowledge of the acquisition processes and policies as outlined in DoDI 5000.02 related to product development, production, and sustainment.
  • Required: 5+ years' experience within acquisition and logistics workforce
  • Desired: DAU Program Management (Advanced) certification or course completion
  • Desired: Working knowledge of the Chem-Bio Defense Program and the JPEO-CBRND organization.
