We are a Jackson Healthcare company and we are now the second largest healthcare staffing company in the U.S., serving more than 7 million patients in over 1,400 healthcare facilities.

The Data Analyst will perform extensive quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business decision making for the company. This position collaborates with Production, Marketing, and Finance. This position is responsible for maintaining and improving an activity forecasting model, driving continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, monitoring various sales initiatives, and identifying actionable insights to maximize company performance and revenue.

Business Intelligence - 50%

  • Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis around various business subject matters

  • Identifies business model improvement opportunities and actionable strategic initiatives through robust analytics; works independently and within the team to implement the initiatives

  • Creates new data flows and data modeling

  • Pinpoints trends, correlations, and patterns in complicated data sets

Business Insights - 50%

  • Provides valuable data driven insight to facilitate business decision making

  • Assesses, interprets, and analyzes data in development to provide insights to help maximize performance and increase revenue

  • Assists with sales campaign strategy, implementation, and reporting for all major sales channels to boost growth for the business

  • Monitors sales performance through key performance metrics and models for multiple sales channels

  • Interprets findings and provides recommendations based on the data

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)

  • Manages web and job posting analytics

  • May work on special projects or other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY

  • May communicate with external vendors and service providers

QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science or a data related discipline

  • 1+ year of related experience required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to adhere to and exhibit the Company Values at all times

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or a relative CRM

  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools; DOMO experience preferred

  • SQL skills preferred

  • Understanding of the needs of the business to bring data together for complex analysis

  • Ability to visualize data for business users to understand

  • Strong understanding of complex data systems

  • Ability to solve business problems leveraging large amount of data, perform analysis using various methods/models

  • Self-motivated with the ability to define, structure and prioritize work for self and the flexibility and capability to change priorities when circumstances dictate

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data using standard statistical tools and techniques

  • Ability to synthesize information and put into data format for analysis

  • Typical office environment - sedentary with typing, writing, reading requirements
