Accounting Supervisor

• Prepare job costing spreadsheets, analyze manufacturing costs, and report on budget vs. actual production costs, including variance analysis.
• Manage general ledger entries, month-end reconciliations, and ensure accurate account reviews and corrections.
• Set up and maintain customer and vendor entities, review and approve vendor payments, and manage electronic payment processes.
• Review and analyze capital expenditures, manage fixed asset accounting, and perform monthly accruals and amortization entries.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures, monitor inventory systems, and ensure adherence to cycle count program guidelines.
• Complete quarterly analyses on excess and obsolete materials, process outbound freight invoices, and support reporting requests from managers and sales reps.
• Collaborate with departments to complete projects, maintain confidentiality, submit suggestions for improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.

• 5+ years of accounting experience in financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and multi-state sales tax compliance.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end closing processes, financial statement preparation, and audit support.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior accounting staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
