Staffmark
is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in Santa Fe Springs, CA, to join a reputable company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their accounting career and contribute to a dynamic team!

Pay: $25-$28 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Process freight invoices through a meticulous system, confirming charges in Excel, readying them for vouchering or upload
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of expense invoices (including certain freight bills) to avoid account holds, penalties, and ensure payments are authorized and approved per internal controls
  • Code and vouch expense invoices and credit memos after securing approval and confirming no duplication
  • Pull and manipulate reports for vendor rebate submissions
  • Verify prices using current rebate contracts to ensure accuracy
  • Submit vendor rebates once approved by the manager
  • Respond to vendor inquiries via email and phone
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Prioritize invoices according to check run schedules and invoice due dates
  • Assist with weekly check/ACH runs



Experience:



  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
