We're seeking a future team member for the role of Expense Analyst to join our Sourcing team.. This role is located in / Lake Mary FL - and would be a hybrid position. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Manage U.S. expense-related customer service issues and oversee the Global Expense Services inbox to ensure timely, high-quality support. Lead resolution of internal stakeholder escalations, acting as the primary point of contact for complex or high-impact issues. Collaborate with global teams to monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with internal controls and service-level expectations. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and optimizing workflows through innovation and AI-driven solutions that enhance the internal client experience. Support the development and implementation of initiatives that improve vendor service quality, operational efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. Deliver detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to help business units meet their expense objectives and manage budgets effectively. Maximize vendor value by enforcing service protocols, addressing performance gaps, and initiating contract changes when necessary. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. 5-7 years of experience in expense operations, financial operations, or a similar analytical role within a global organization. Strong proficiency in expense management systems (e.g., Concur, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Familiarity with AI-driven tools and automation technologies to streamline workflows and enhance reporting. Proven track record of managing vendor relationships and driving service-level improvements. Experience in process optimization, governance, and policy compliance within a corporate environment. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and contribute to global strategy development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
