The Service Deliver Specialist (IT/Cloud Cost Management) will be a part of the infrastructure team and will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT infrastructure operations for Enhanced File Transfer (EFT) systems. This individual will also be responsible for driving cloud cost optimization.

What you will do:
  • Lead the architecture, configuration, and lifecycle management of the Globalscape EFT platform across hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments.

  • Manage a technical team responsible for IT infrastructure operations-including servers, networking, storage, and cloud environments-supporting the Enhanced File Transfer (EFT).

  • Oversee day-to-day EFT operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient file transfers between internal systems, business partners, and external clients.

  • Ensure system stability, security, and performance benchmarks are consistently met

  • Direct the administration, solve, and continuous improvement of the EFT platform in alignment with evolving business, security, and compliance requirements.

  • Provide technical leadership and incident management, ensuring timely resolution of service disruptions and user requests.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance, scalability, and high availability of file transfer infrastructure.

  • Partner with multi-functional stakeholders to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, platform migrations, and new EFT system implementations, aligning with enterprise IT roadmaps and digital transformation goals.

  • Design and develop key FinOps strategies around cloud cost governance and compliance

  • Engage with application teams and platform engineers to identify and implement cost optimizations strategies

  • Develop cloud budgets and annual spend forecasts; Work with Enterprise Planning team to improve Cloud cost forecasting

  • Lead managed service support teams in cloud policy creation and implementing automation optimization strategies.

  • Work with our cloud vendor(s) to understand on-going costs and lead optimization efforts

  • Present monthly/quarterly cloud cost financial updates to executive level audiences

Who you are:
  • Minimum 6+ years' experience working in IT

  • Solid knowledge of ITIL frameworks for incidents, change, and problem management.

  • Experience in supporting secure file transfer platforms such as Globalscape

  • Solid grasp of FTP/SFTP/FTPS protocols, SSH, SSL/TLS, and PGP encryption.

  • Experience in Cloud Cost Management

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and governance development for FinOps Programs

  • Demonstrated experience in leading with influence and ability to engage collaborators for decision making

  • Proven internal and external influencing skills at senior and executive management levels

  • ITIL Certification; FinOps Certified Practitioner preferred

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
