Seeking a family medicine physician who will primarily work as a Hospitalist faculty member at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (
RWJUH) for Rutgers Health,
RWJMS Hospital Medicine Division, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. Faculty member will deliver state of the art and high-quality care through a team-based approach. Position will also require teaching medical students and residents as well as providing leadership and fulfilling administrative and teaching responsibilities inherent in achieving program goals, and care of the hospitalized patient. Faculty member will be expected to complete all clinical, teaching, and administrative work in a timely fashion. Additionally, faculty member will work within oncology service of up to twenty patients. This will include weekend call and night call as assigned. To be qualified, candidate must be board certified/eligible and have competence in the care of adults. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
Successful completion of a Family Medicine Residency. Maintenance of a full, unconditional, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey, and registration by the State and federal agencies, is a condition of employment with the university. Three to five years of experience preferred. |
Certifications/Licenses |
Board Eligibility/Certification in Family Medicine, and up-to-date
DEA,
CDS, and NJ Medical License and any other credentials necessary to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey. |
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
Outstanding medical knowledge, excellent patient-centered skills, active listening skills, ability to communicate effectively with genuine concern for patients, passion for patient care, good organizational skills, ability to make effective decisions and an innate ability to manage change. |
