About this position:

The Nurse Residency Coordinator is a registered nurse with demonstrated clinical and leadership experience. Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Nurse Residency Program and other transition-to-practice initiatives.She/he Identifies and implements strategies aimed to increase novice nurse knowledge and transition to professional practice, improved performance and retention. Participates on multidisciplinary committees to complete projects/procedures that affect direct patient care. Participates in implementing strategic hospital and department initiatives.

What you will bring:

1. Master's degree preferred. Qualified applicants can be placed in the position if they agree to complete an MSN; must apply to and be accepted into an MSN program within six months, with course work to begin promptly after acceptance. Steady progress toward degree completion is defined as a minimum of 9 credits per calendar year from the time course work begins.
2. BSN is required.
3. At least five years of RN experience is required.
4. Experience in nursing/staff education preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 43.93 per hour - Maximum 68.09 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
