Summary: A Behavioral Health Navigator plays a vital role in providing immediate and compassionate support to individuals presenting to the Emergency Department in acute psychological distress. This position requires a professional who is adept at performing risk assessments developing crisis intervention strategies and connecting patients with appropriate resources for ongoing care. Working in a fast-paced and often high-pressure environment our Crisis Clinicians must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills a deep understanding of mental health issues and the ability to remain calm and decisive in emergencies Responsibilities: The Behavioral Health Navigator:

EXPERIENCE: The Behavioral Health Navigator must have a solid foundation in mental health care including 3-5 years of clinical experience (preferably in a hospital environment) relevant certifications and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical practice. Additionally successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills resilience and the capacity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a high paced setting.
