Overview
The SPD Tech Assistant is responsible for coordinating disposable supplies and instrument inventory needed for same day/next day surgical cases. Stocks instruments accurately on the SPD shelves. Answers the phone to take requests from the OR for disposables and instrumentation for delivery. Ensures daily re-stocking of disposables in the OR Omni-cells. Organizes and audits OR case carts to ensure all instrumentation and supplies have been pulled correctly for delivery to the respective OR rooms. Assists with organizing case carts and containers from the cart washer for the SPD Technicians. Stocks all specialty carts for the OR and the hospital floors. Qualifications License/Certifications: Education: Other Knowledge/Skills: Supply chain Responsibilities Picks supplies for same day/next day surgical cases. Picks and restocks disposable supplies in the OR Omni Cells. Restocksitems in code carts, specialty carts and OR carts. Restocks departmental instrumentation to the shelf. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $15per hour - $24.32per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
