We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Financial Services Specialist, Commercial Crop & Livestock Lending to join our team. In this position, you will work closely with relationship managers to provide financial services and loans to our customers. You will also act as a liaison between market-facing staff, internal teams, and external resources, ensuring smooth workflow and communication. Your responsibilities will include managing pending and active loan accounts, assisting applicants, and processing large and complex loan applications for credit analysis.

What You Need:



  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex workflows. Previous experience in a commercial lending or agricultural finance environment is a plus.
  • Skills:Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a team setting.



This position is open until filled.

This position is located in Marshall, Missouri. Flexible work Hours will be considered after the initial training period is complete and based off of the candidates' qualifications and needs.

This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Post-Closing



  • Manages all pending and active loan accounts for assigned relationship manager by monitoring reports and transaction activity
  • Reviews closing documents for signatures, transmits loan, and disburses funds
  • Determines covenants to be monitored and ensures timely completion of on-going monitoring activity
  • Scans loan documents and files security documents
  • Facilitates record keeping and loan data and provides feedback to internal and external audit
  • Reviews and updates data integrity based upon credit presentation

Loan Processing



  • Interacts with and responds to applicants in person, by phone, in writing, or electronic correspondence
  • Processes a loan determination by documenting the decision made
  • Interprets and satisfies loan approval conditions and reconciles verifications
  • Determines when pricing approval and chattel appraisals are required and ensures completion per procedures
  • Orders and reviews appraisals and title work
  • Facilitates loan closings with title company or customer in person or electronically
  • Prepares, prints, reviews, and delivers loan documents for closing
  • Expedites, tracks, and communicates with additional departments Level 1 customer loans to meet guidelines

Loan Applications



  • Prepares and submits large, complex loan applications for credit analysis
  • Determines level of documentation and verification needed
  • Gathers and documents financial and demographic information, including entity documentation from customer's attorney
  • Enters loan request information into customer relationship management loan origination system
  • Determines which loan program to use and which underwriting authority is needed (scored vs. traditional)
  • Determines how to resolve inquiries and questions

Loan Servicing



  • Determines information and documentation needed for completion of servicing actions
  • Resolves inquiries, questions, complaints, and issues from borrower or third-party affiliates
  • Determines what insurance coverage is needed and confirms coverage is adequate
  • Obtains and reviews crop insurance assignments
  • Maintains the association attribution list

Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Finance or a related field
  • An understanding of loan processing or loan closing functions
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job


Required Knowledge and Skills



  • General knowledge of credit processing procedures
  • General knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of FCS procedures on title companies
