The USFGMD will achieve this with a professional, well-trained, diverse workforce creating a positive and profitable customer relationship resulting in Total Customer Satisfaction and growth of our business.The Federal Systems Technology department of the USFGMD is responsible for service supporting a charter of implementing and integrating complex systems sold worldwide to the US Federal Government. As a USFGMD Systems Technologist, you will be exposed to a wide variety of communications requirements in both the Presale and Post Sale phases of a project. These applications span the entire breadth of the US Federal Government throughout the world. Job Description Navy ELMR is geographically the largest, most complex ASTRO system in the world.The San Diego FST will be responsible to implement monthly OS patching across one of the CONUS zones and will be based in San Diego, CA within the San Diego Master site. The patching includes, but is not limited to, monthly patch updates to Windows clients, Windows servers, RHEL servers, McAfee AV updates, and SQL data bases. Provide detailed weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.Open and manage cases with the Motorola Solutions System Support Center (SSC). Must have knowledge of wired communications systems, such as local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN), must be proficient in computer network installation, configuration and maintenance systems to include cabling, routers, switches, firewallsand bridges.
