Position Description
Performs professional level work at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center by conducting classes on a per-course or limited-term basis, without any guarantee of continuing employment. Responsibilities encompass the coordination and instruction of one or more courses within a prescribed curriculum. Teachers in this classification usually specialize in the academic subject, professional discipline or technical skill being taught at the time of employment. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based upon results obtained. May supervise subordinate employees assigned to area of responsibility.

Major/Essential Functions
Performs professional level work including the coordination of multiple programs' admissions processes, 504 accommodations, comprehensive examinations, and documentation of records related to student matriculation. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained.

A degree that is appropriate to the level of courses being taught.
