Inpatient Solid Tumor, Responding Clinician APP Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), located in Boston, MA currently has an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our cutting-edge Inpatient Oncology team, caring for inpatients with Solid Tumors. You'll be caring for an oncology patient population who are admitted for medical complications, new diagnoses, and treatment-related side effects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of patients on a 36-bed unit in collaboration with oncologists and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include: Participating in daily interdisciplinary rounds Collaboratively develop and implement care plans Coordinating tests and consultations, communicating with referring clinicians and consults, performing patient education, and preparing patients for discharge. Providers are responsible for coverage 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Shifts are 13hrs. Day/Night Rotation. Day hours: 6:30am-7:30pm, Night Hours: 6:30pm-7:30am.
