Description Leidos is seeking a Sr. Technical SME for our Enterprise Digital Experience (EDX) Practice Area, located in Reston, VA. POSITION OVERVIEW: This role will serve as a technical authority on digital experience and end user technologies, providing deep expertise in evaluating, integrating, and implementing modern solutions. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical mastery with practical innovation to guide our technical direction and ensure the successful delivery of transformative digital experiences across federal government customers. This role focuses on the technical depth needed to ensure our EDX practice delivers innovative, practical, and secure solutions. The successful candidate will balance deep technical expertise with the ability to guide implementation and integration decisions that drive meaningful improvements in government digital experiences. While presentation and documentation skills are important, the primary emphasis is on technical knowledge, practical implementation expertise, and the ability to differentiate and explain benefits of competing technologies and approaches to enable customer-facing teammates. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: No initial clearance is required to start; however, you must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required). PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as technical authority for EDX practice offerings, providing expert guidance on capabilities, integration approaches, and implementation considerations.
- Develop proofs-of-concept and technical prototypes to validate approaches.
- Develop and manage a demonstration environment, and work with with Practice resources to provide demonstrations and training/enablement.
- Create technical specifications, integration patterns, and implementation guides.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor offerings, conducting technical assessments and providing recommendations on adoption.
- Design and validate technical approaches for integrating AI/ML capabilities securely and effectively into existing solutions.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on configuration, development, and integration strategies.
- Partner with internal technical teams to leverage broader company expertise and capabilities.
- Support go-to-market teams with technical solution customization and implementation planning.
- Document technical findings, best practices, and implementation patterns.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree with minimum of 15+ years experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with tools and technologies across some of the following Enterprise Digital Experience domains:
*IT Service Management and Operations: ITSM Platforms, Service Desk, CMDB/IT Asset Mgmt, Event Monitoring and AIOps (Ex.: ServiceNow, BMC Helix, NICE CXone, ScienceLogic). *End User Computing and Workplace Management: Endpoint Management; Virtual Desktop Infrastructure; Mobile Device Management and Enterprise Mobility; Digital Workplace Analytics. *Collaboration and Enterprise Productivity: Microsoft 365 Ecosystem: Teams, SharePoint, Copilot; Google Workspace; Communication Platforms; Contact Center Solutions and ACD/IVR systems. *Artificial Intelligence and Automation: Moveworks, AWS (Connect, Lex, Bedrock), Azure Cognitive Services, Google Cloud AI; Process Automation: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate;Chatbot Development and Integration. *User Experience, Observability and Service Delivery: Digital Experience Platforms; UX/CX Tools; Human-Centered Design, Service Portal, and Advanced Knowledge Management Systems. *Observability and Digital Experience Monitoring. *Digital Accessibility: WCAG compliance tools; Screen readers and accessibility testing; Section 508 compliance tools; Accessibility monitoring platforms. *Employee Experience Analytics: Experience Level Agreements (XLA) monitoring; Sentiment analysis tools; Journey mapping tools; Employee feedback platforms. *Security and Identity Management: Identity Solutions, Access Management and Authentication
- Technical Integration and Innovation Capabilities:
*Strong understanding of API's and integration patterns. *Practical experience with automation and workflow technologies. *Advanced understanding of AI/ML capabilities, limitations, and implementation considerations. *Experience with cloud services architecture and implementation. *Ability to evaluate and integrate legacy and emerging technologies. *Understanding of federal security and compliance requirements. *Proven track record in proof-of-concept development and validation. Pay Range:Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
