Overview
Performs cardiac-interventional and vascular-interventional procedures. Scrubs, circulates and monitors procedures. Operates fluoroscopic equipment, acquires and processes digital images. May be required to alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, call, flexible hours and overtime as necessary to provide quality patient care at assigned sites(s). Works as part of a multidisciplinary team, serving on committees and participating in projects as requested, taking a lead role as assigned. Provides advanced clinical expertise and staff level leadership to the department. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited radiography program or equivalent training/education program for required certification/licensure Three years' experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology required CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE ARRT(R) or EMT-P Specialty certification in one of the following: ARRT(VI), ARRT(CI), CCI-RCIS, CCI-RCES, or HRS CCDS or 5-10 years' experience in lieu of specialty certification BLS required ACLS required at hire or within six months of hire PALS required at hire or within one year of hire ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS P SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Function of the position with or without accommodations. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. LEVEL OF SUPERVISION Some independent judgment is required. SUPERVISES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
