ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Functions as a member of the Turning Point Sequoia Youth Services leadership team, to assist in review, planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation of all program services and activities.
  2. Employees shall follow the reporting requirements for incidents of Child Abuse, Elder Abuse, Adult Abuse, Dependent Adult Abuse, and Tarasoff warnings per California reporting laws.
  3. Provides direct supervision of team leads or other lead staff, to identify service activity objectives, determine process to achieve and monitor goal attainment using qualitative and quantifiable methods.
  4. Consults regularly with supervising clinical mental health services staff, for the purpose of reviewing clinical intervention methods and ensuring quality treatment planning.
  5. Reviews client files to ensure completion of all documentation requirements and evaluate the quality of case coordination activities for all clinical staff.
  6. Trains staff in program procedures, specific work assignments and ethical/legal obligations, including client confidentiality.
  7. Provides ongoing evaluation/documentation of supervisees, including selection of work assignments, accuracy and completeness of work, productivity, disciplinary actions, and all functions related to work performance, as indicated.
  8. Will provide monthly program reports and statistics, as assigned.
  9. Will have the ability to work harmoniously with other community agencies and function as the lead contact person, within an assigned service area, for community and government programs.
  10. Will be able to think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  11. Will drive on Agency business.
  12. Physical presence in the office is required.
  13. Ensure direct report staff follow the agency's timecard, PTO (Paid Time Off), and California's rest and meal period policies. Will monitor staff timesheets to ensure they are completed accurately.
  14. Employees are expected to manage their cell phone use so that the Agency cell phone stipend covers all business usage. Any calls not covered by the stipend are to be made on a company landline phone.
  15. Clinical reviews of Treatment Plans in the absence of licensed clinicians.
  16. Will participate in job interviews for mental health professionals, rehab specialists, nurses and support staff.
  17. Will assist with parent complaints.
  18. Will assist the Crisis Team, as needed, to explain the process of an involuntary hold.


ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS



  1. Currently licensed in the State Of California as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage Family Child Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) (preferred) with at least 2 years post licensure experience or Master's degree in behavioral health science with a current intern registration as an Associate Social Worker (ASW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.
  2. Ability to strategize staffing needs and fulfill agency and contract goals.
  3. Leadership ability to plan, motivate, provide feedback, and help move the agency's mission forward is required.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and abilities to supervise program staff, to provide clinical assessments and interventions using individual, family, and group modalities.
  5. Expertise in supervising and training staff in record keeping, documentation procedures, and client/record confidentiality, as required by professional and legal standards in the State of California, and Turning Point of Central California Policy and Procedures.
  6. Ability to operate within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  7. Must be available by cell phone as needed.
  8. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  9. Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
  10. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  11. Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, general physical, and TB test.

    • Bilingual/Masters: Class 190 ($78,286.16 - $103,019.24/Annually)
    • Monolingual/Licensed: Class 190 ($78,286.16 - $103,019.24/Annually)
    • Bilingual/Licensed: Class 195 ($82,279.54 - $108,274.26/Annually)
    • Monolingual/Supervisor/BBS: 195 ($82,279.54 - $108,274.26/Annually)
    • Bilingual/Supervisor/BBS: Class 200 ($86,476.62 - $113,797.33/Annually)
