**This position is a Manager, PR & Communications | Central Region role based out of - Remote Central Regions**

The Manager, PR & Communications | Central Region is responsible for developing and implementing public relations and marketing communication strategies to position Colliers as a leader in the commercial real estate industry in the eastern U.S. region through innovative and measurable tactics.This role will lead regional internal and external communications, as well as training and education on best practices within public relations, communications, social engagement etc.

In this role, you will...

  • Strategize and deliver on public relations and communications initiatives to elevate brand awareness throughout the East Region in alignment with national objectives.

  • Develop and implement regional strategic marketing and communications plans to support regional goals.

  • Align internal and external communications strategies to positively amplify brand, client, and employee messages to all core audiences.

  • Create and manage communications assets, such as press releases, blogs, marketing collateral, web content, social media posts, internal communications etc.

  • Manage day-to-day supervision of external partnerships with public relations agencies.

  • Proactively engage with both traditional and non-traditional media platforms, including print, digital, broadcast channels, podcasts, social, webinars, and other outlets, to highlight our experts and seize opportunities for visibility and recognition.

  • Facilitate ongoing training and education to ensure all professionals meet brand governance standards, inclusive of creating toolkits and additional materials to support this objective.

  • Oversee in-house regional public relations and communications team members.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field required.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar management-level role - prior experience in the commercial real estate industry preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a PR Agency or corporate environment

  • Advanced Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Word).

  • Capacity to write and generate content with strong editing and proofreading skills with an emphasis on business writing and an ability to articulating client value.

  • Strong business acumen including the ability to translate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner to both broad and targeted audiences.

  • Ability to shift priorities and deliver projects on a timely basis, well organized and with excellent time management skills and ability to interface with top level executives.

  • A strong work ethic, the strength to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment, ability to lead and manage projects to completion and meet critical deadlines.
